As a part of our vision to create a greener and healthier planet, Shree Mahesh Jan Kalyan Foundation is launching a comprehensive Tree Plantation initiative. With a proposed budget of ₹20 lakhs, this project focuses on planting over 10,000 native and environment-friendly trees across identified rural, semi-urban, and urban zones. The aim is not just to plant trees, but to foster a culture of environmental responsibility and long-term sustainability within the community.

The project will begin with identifying suitable land areas including roadside stretches, school campuses, community parks, and degraded forest land. After a thorough soil and climate assessment, high-survival saplings will be procured and planted with the active involvement of local residents, youth volunteers, and school students. Special emphasis will be given to community ownership and participation throughout the process.

Beyond plantation, we are committed to ensuring the survival and growth of each sapling through structured maintenance plans including regular watering, fertilization, fencing, and a 6-month post-care monitoring phase. This will be executed in partnership with local self-help groups and environment-based youth clubs.

The larger goal of this initiative is to combat the adverse effects of climate change, reduce air pollution, prevent soil erosion, and support biodiversity restoration. Additionally, the project will conduct awareness workshops and campaigns in schools and villages to educate people about the vital role trees play in human and planetary health.
